Journey to Adulthood is a complete program of spiritual formation for 6th - 12th grades, using Bible studies, prayer, rites of passage, outreach ministries and both serious and playful activities.

Leading Adult Christian Education  The formation process continues throughout our whole lives, making adult Christian education important for all congregations.  Come learn how to choose curriculum, get people to come, and strengthen your congregation through adult education.

Safeguarding God’s Children  A required training for all who work with children and youth, vestry members, and church employees and volunteers.  This training includes a video and discussion time.  A great opportunity as well to refresh your learning from previous trainings.

Jacob’s Ladder Exploratory Meeting.  Jacob’s Ladder is a new diocesan special ministry whose mission is to identify, empower, and welcome the ministry of people with disabilities and different abilities.  All who might be interested in joining a small steering group to explore the way forward are welcome.  People with disabilities or different abilities; family & friends; professionals; clergy & lay leaders; and interested others are all welcome.  Please register for both morning and afternoon sessions.  Please call Rebecca Gbasha, (319) 354-0112 after August 7, or Judy Thayer, (319) 337-2052, for more information or if you need specific accommodations.
